College invites families to campus
AT Peace Lutheran College, the future is bright, with families looking to secure their enrolment for 2027.

The first week of school for 2026 kicked off with a buzz in the air at Peace Lutheran College from the littlies all the way through to their graduating class, the energy of a school excited by the future is evident.
The college opened a new kindergarten building in 2025, welcoming students at the true foundation of their learning journey.
From these earliest years, children are supported to grow, learn and graduate together – from prep right through to year 12 – within one connected, caring community.
Nestled at the foothills of the Kamerunga rainforest, the college offers families from across Cairns the opportunity to experience this environment firsthand through two upcoming enrolment events designed to inform, inspire and connect.

For families preparing for the transition to high school, the year 7 information afternoon on Monday 2 March at 4pm showcases the breadth of subjects on offer in secondary school.
Prospective students and parents will meet passionate teachers, hear from the head of year and learn how Peace ensures young people feel welcomed, connected and confident as they step into this new stage of learning.
Explore prep at PLC on Saturday 14 March at 9am. Families with little ones are invited to step into the world of early learning at Peace.
Guests will meet the teaching team, hear about the learning focus for the first year of school, enjoy a classroom tour and share in a relaxed morning tea while children explore the play spaces that make such a strong first impression.

It’s also a chance to meet principal Shane Jurecky, learn about the college’s values and ethos and experience the welcoming atmosphere that defines Peace.
Transition is a hallmark of the Peace approach. From a five-week prep transition program for prep starters, to a modified timetable for years 5 and 6 that introduces secondary electives, to thoughtfully designed camps, curriculum pathways and community activities – every step is intentionally supported.
Whether your child is just beginning or ready for the next chapter, Peace Lutheran College invites families to come and see how the college continues to reinvent itself while staying true to what matters most: inspiring minds nurturing hearts and serving community.
