Car boot sale to help group
MARLIN Coast Meals on Wheels is hosting a fundraising car boot sale this Sunday (2 August) from 11am to 2pm.
The fundraiser will feature a wide variety of stalls offering pre-loved treasures, books, household goods, plants, clothing, toys and much more.
Visitors can also enjoy a barbecue and refreshments while browsing for bargains.
Every dollar raised will go directly towards helping Marlin Coast Meals on Wheels.
A spokeswoman said as demand for their service grew, “we are also calling on community members to consider becoming volunteers”.
They are seeking:
Volunteer drivers to transport meals from their kitchen,
Meal deliverers to provide meals and a friendly smile to our clients
Kitchen hands to assist with meal preparation, packing and cleaning.
