Now in its second year, Dream Aloud has quickly become one of Queensland’s most exciting cultural festivals, celebrating First Nations music, language, dance and storytelling under the stars at Munro Martin Parklands.

This year’s lineup features some of Australia’s most powerful voices, including:

  • Budjerah – ARIA-winning headline artist

  • Kaiit – Neo-soul artist celebrated for redefining the genre

  • South Summit – Genre-blending indie, rock and reggae collective

  • 3% – First Nations hip-hop powerhouse

  • DENNI – Fusing Lutruwita (Tasmanian) culture with contemporary pop.

Hosted by Zipporah, the festival also includes markets, food, dance workshops, language experiences and cultural activations led by Traditional Owners.

Dream Aloud sits alongside other highlights of The Tropics Trail, including Savannah in the Round, Blak Rising, Shine on Gimuy, Futures Summit and Tablelands Folk Festival, creating a cultural journey across the coast, rainforest and Tablelands.

QMF chief executive Daryl Rave said the festival was designed to celebrate local artists and communities, while positioning Cairns as a hub for First Nations music.

“Dream Aloud champions First Nations artists and invites the community to share in a truly unique cultural experience under the stars,” Mr Rave said.
