Body Fit event to return
THE stunning waterfront and tropical lifestyle of Cairns have made a lasting impression on delegates from the 2025 Body Fit Training (BFT) Conference, so much so that the event will return to the city again in April 2026.
Hosted across Crystalbrook Riley and the Cairns Convention Centre, the national franchise conference drew more than 400 delegates, including franchise partners and studio managers from around Australia and overseas.
Tourism Tropical North Queensland partnerships and events general manager Tara Bennett said Cairns offered the perfect mix of modern facilities, outdoor space and relaxed tropical charm.
“The 2025 theme of ‘Empower’ fully utilised the city’s tropical outdoor lifestyle,” Ms Bennett said.
“The waterfront boardwalk linking Crystalbrook Riley to the convention centre was perfect for the daily Run Club and delegates loved spending time on the waterfront, whether jogging or taking part in a BFT sweat session beside the Riley pool.”
The event also celebrated Tropical North Queensland’s local produce on menus.
