BMW offers online paint configurator
BMW Australia has enhanced its online configurator to provide customers the opportunity to specify and order a wide range of models in an array of BMW Individual special exterior paint finishes.

The palette includes classic colours to the latest offerings.
The configurator provides customers the ability to choose their paint and view the vehicle in that hue from multiple angles while zooming both in and out to inspect the detail.
It also enables multiple interior upholsteries to be selected – and which are visible when displaying the exterior view – as well as different alloy wheel designs to precisely option the vehicle to one’s personal preferences and specification.
There is additionally an option to digitally switch the head and taillights on and off to show how the lighting front and rear influences the look of the vehicle.
The updates to the BMW Australia model configurator complement a raft of new digital solutions implemented by BMW Australia to elevate its customer offering across the board.
The company recently launched a new BMW lifestyle online store, whereby customers can buy items from the catalogue online for pickup at their preferred dealership or delivered directly to their door.
In addition, launch of a new tracking portal now enables customers to monitor the progress of their new BMW in real time, from factory to dealership.
This includes its status while on board an allocated vessel during shipping.
