Birthday celebrations for an AFL stalwart
ALTHOUGH the main story of the Port Douglas Crocs big day, at the Croc Pit, with guest player Dustin Martin is covered on the previous page, I thought I would take the opportunity to celebrate the 4000-plus spectators who turned out last Saturday to support the event.

I was also privileged to catch up with another AFL legend from the past, in this case it was former Collingwood player and now Port Douglas local Ian Montgomery, who celebrated his 82nd birthday over the weekend.
