Now in its 29th year, the Cardzilla Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride will see riders cover 780km from the Coral Sea to the Gulf of Carpentaria, connecting communities and supporting regional schools, P&C associations and local groups along the route.

The 2026 ride marks a new chapter under new management, with Helena (surname withheld) continuing as ride manager.

Local P&Cs and community groups host meals, games and fundraising activities that directly benefit from the ride’s participation.

The C2K Bike Ride continues to play a vital role in supporting and strengthening community connections along its 780km course.

Cardzilla owners Andrew, Steve and Jools (surnames withheld) said they were proud to partner with the community-focused event.

“The Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride captures everything we love about living and working in Far North Queensland — teamwork, resilience and community spirit,” they said.

“We’re honoured to support an event that not only showcases our region but also gives back to the towns and people along the way.”

Preparations are now underway for the 2026 ride, which runs from Saturday 27 June to Friday 3 July. Riders of all experience levels are invited to register at www.bit.ly/4pITltf.
