The free-entry celebration runs from 12pm until late on Saturday 10 October and Sunday 11 October, with walk-ins welcome.

Hemingway’s head of hospitality, Roman Haslinger, said the event was about bringing people together in a relaxed waterfront setting.

“Oktoberfest is really about getting people together over good beer, good food and a bit of fun and that fits Hemingway’s perfectly,” he said.

Two German-style beers will take centre stage – Weiss Guy Hefeweizen and Festbier Lager – served in 500 mL steins alongside the brewery’s regular range. The event will also feature Bavarian-inspired food and the Bavarian Olympics, including stein lifting, keg lifting and Oktoberfest-inspired challenges.
