Another great celebration

THE Babinda Harvest Festival took over October with its joyous events and celebrations.

And so it ended another successful year of community tradition and celebration. 

The team at the Babinda Harvest Festival are already preparing for next year and dates of the 2023 Festival will be announced soon. 

And as much as the Harvest Queens were celebrated, the Festival also wanted to celebrate the winners of this year’s DUCK DASH. 

DUCK DASH Winners: 

• 1st - #4 Sean Binks - $2,000 

• 2nd - #233 Courtney Ling - $1,000 

• 3rd - #586 Eric Anning - $500 

Lucky Duck 

• Lucky Duck 1 - #251 Rosie Ambrum for spending the race submerged - $500 

• Lucky Duck 2 - #692 Trish Lock for being the last duck of the race - $500
