The event runs from 8am to 2pm at their clubhouse, 28a Grove Street, across the railway lines near the McLeod Street Pioneer Cemetery.

The fair will feature more stalls this year, with local artists selling handcrafted pottery, sculptures and other artworks.

Visitors can participate in 'clay play' for children and watch wheel-throwing demonstrations throughout the day.

Club president Lone White said the event was “a great opportunity for the public to see what the club has to offer, e.g. find out times when members can use club facilities, slab roller, pottery wheels, electric and raku kilns”.

The club also runs classes for children and adults, which are open to non-members.

Anyone interested in wheel throwing or hand building is encouraged to attend the fair to learn more about the club’s offerings.

The Christmas fair provides a chance to explore local craftsmanship, enjoy interactive activities and discover opportunities to join or participate in the club’s programs.
