Wednesday Sporters Stableford winner Terry Rooker29 pts, runner-up Ross Milveskiy 28 pts, 3rd Bill Denmark 27 pts. Least Putts Mick Grumley 15.
Thursday Ladies played Stroke won by Heather Beaven 69 nett, runner-up Shelley Broadley 70 nett, 3rd Patsy McMahon 72 nett.
Friday 6 Hole Chook run won by Adam Parnell 14 pts.runner-up Patsy McMahon 12 pts on countback.
Saturday was the MALANDA MEATS Co. sponsored Turner Shield Stableford. Ladies winner Lyn Morrison 38 pts, runner-up Shelley Broadley 35 pts on count back from Lorraine Doolan.
Men’s winner on 40 pts was Karl Riber, runner-up Marc Keesler 36 pts on countback from Tony Crome, 5 players on 35 pts.
Sundays Tableland Top Meats Stableford won by Peter Steventon 40 pts, runner-up Garry Thompson 36 pts on countback from new member Trent Molloy.
It was good and sad for our C-Grade Pennants Lads on the weekend at Palmer Sea Reef Port. On Saturday they beat Gordonvale 5 v 0 in the semi-final, Barney, Jeppo, Ernie , Jeff and Italo all winning close games. Unfortunately they came up short in the Final, Sunday morning v HMBGC losing 2 v 3 Italo a 5 & 4 win, Jeff 1 up with the other boys going down narrowly. Great effort for the season Lads.
This week Wednesday Sporters play a 2BBB Stableford, Thursday Ladies a Showcase Jewellers sponsored Stableford, Friday Trinity Petroleum 6 Hole Chook run followed by the Goose Club Draw at 6.30 including Members Jackpot Joker $2550, Saturday is the H.
