The Cairns Craft Beer Festival is back, promising a frothing good lineup of Far North Queensland’s leading breweries and artisan-made ales and the finest pub grub and lively entertainment from noon until late, Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Now in its third year, Cairns Craft Beer Festival is a popular event on the region’s calendar and an opportunity to celebrate five of Far North Queensland’s craft brewing stars that include Macalister’s Brewing, Coral Sea Brewing, Barrier Reef Brewing, Sauce Brewing Co. and festival host, Hemingway’s Brewery.

Headlining the live and local music bill on the day will be entertainment from the Joker Pokers, Lady Valiant, and a range of food stalls showcasing local produce will keep the energy flowing.

Cairns Craft Beer Festival organiser and General Manager of Hemingway’s Brewery, Roman Haslinger said there is nothing he loves doing more than organising a festival and is his way of showing the community what a great place Far North Queensland is.

“We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful environment and to have the best of the best produce at our fingertips to create food and beverage that, in global standards, is of enviable quality,” Mr Haslinger said.

“Craft beer is the culmination of all those characteristics and by its unique blend of ingredients and flavour, mixed with local ingenuity and flair, provides the ultimate sense of place and feeling of enjoyment.”

The Cairns Craft Beer Festival will be held at Hemingway’s Brewery, Cairns Wharf.

This is a family-friendly event, and entry is free.
